Additive synthesis in Alchemy question

Hello, Whenever I open the additive synthesis window in Alchemy and import a sound, I only see the fundamental pitch and no overtones. I also don't see the many snapshots in time in the lower window. Hence I can't edit the sound. I'm sure there's something simple I'm missing; can anyone help? Screenshot provided. Many thanks.
